Refund policy
1. Purpose
This policy outlines the terms and conditions under which guests may receive a refund for cancellation or modified room bookings at the Tiyara Inn Guest House.
2. Eligibility for Refund
Refunds are applicable only under the following conditions:

The booking is cancelled within the specified cancellation window.

The guest is unable to stay due to legitimate reasons (e.g. medical emergency, travel restrictions), subject to documentation.
3. Cancellation Refund Timeline

Note: All time references are based on the local time zone of the guest house.
4. Early Check-Out Refunds

Guests who check out earlier than the booked departure date are not eligible for a refund for the unused nights, unless due to valid emergencies approved by management.
5. Force Majeure / Guest House-Initiated Cancellations

In cases where the guest house cancels the reservation due to unforeseen operational issues (e.g., power outage, maintenance, weather, or other force majeure events), a full refund will be issued.
6. Refund Process

Refunds will be processed within 7–10 business days from the date of cancellation approval.

Refunds will be made through the original payment method used during booking.

7. Non-Refundable Bookings

Some promotional, last-minute, or discounted rates may be non-refundable, and this will be clearly stated at the time of booking.
