Refund policy

1. Purpose

This policy outlines the terms and conditions under which guests may receive a refund for cancellation or modified room bookings at the Tiyara Inn Guest House.

2. Eligibility for Refund

Refunds are applicable only under the following conditions:

  • The booking is cancelled within the specified cancellation window.

  • The guest is unable to stay due to legitimate reasons (e.g. medical emergency, travel restrictions), subject to documentation.

3. Cancellation Refund Timeline

Note: All time references are based on the local time zone of the guest house.

4. Early Check-Out Refunds

  • Guests who check out earlier than the booked departure date are not eligible for a refund for the unused nights, unless due to valid emergencies approved by management.

5. Force Majeure / Guest House-Initiated Cancellations

  • In cases where the guest house cancels the reservation due to unforeseen operational issues (e.g., power outage, maintenance, weather, or other force majeure events), a full refund will be issued.

6. Refund Process

  • Refunds will be processed within 7–10 business days from the date of cancellation approval.

  • Refunds will be made through the original payment method used during booking.

  • 2.5% Service charge will be deducted from the total booking amount

7. Non-Refundable Bookings

  • Some promotional, last-minute, or discounted rates may be non-refundable, and this will be clearly stated at the time of booking.
